三条路, Third road has two famous stalls selling hokkien mee and lor mee. One could be found at Gat Lebuh Pregrave (refer here) while another one would be this, 888 hokkien mee. they both serve fantastic hokkien mee. For south part of the island, you may head over their outlet at Lorong Mahsuri 10 at Bayan Baru.
For 888, I love the thickness of their gravy prawn soup (RM 3.50), added on their crunchy roasted pork (RM 2.00) would give you extra satisfaction for sure.
Wantan Mee from the makeshift stall in front 888 Hokkien mee was above average.
However, the reddish fried oyster (RM 10) at the coffee shop next door, was ordinary and too watery to my liking.
