Terrenganu Road has quite a number of awesome local specialties which is cheap and awesome. Beside Pak Man Nasi Melayu and Wantan Mee, there is a sheltered hawker centers sitting just opposite Heng Ee High School, just at the junction of the roundabout. Most of the common local specialties, you name it and you can find it here.
The highlights would be Char Koay Teow (RM4), I like the way Uncle doesn't stress on offering big prawn, but fried the koay teow with strong 'wok hei' and served on top of fresh banana leaf.
Curry Mee (RM 3.30), the soup was strong in taste with the right level of coconut milk. Can't stop the urge having every sip of the noodle goes with the soup.
One of the greatest lobak in Penang would be from this stall. We opted for Lobak, Taukua, Prawn fritters and squid. Squid turned out to be a little disappointing as it was boiled instead of fry. The sauce just doesn't goes well with the squid.
Ice Kacang (RM 3) to neutralize after having so many rich flavors meal.
These are available during lunch hours and the food court opens during dinner hours too.
