For at least 40 years, Kheng Pin Cafe is famous for their lobak. When I was teenage, I always drop by to enjoy some snacks or having take away from this lobak stall. The idea of trying the rest of stalls in this coffee shop has never came to my mind until recently. Surprisingly, porridge and wanton noodle are luscious too.
We opted for the-must-order Lobak, prawn fritters and fried toufu (RM 5.70). Pork mince was well seasoned with 5 spices seasoning, trapped inside crispy beancurd sheet. The starchy 'Loh' and chili sauce made a great compliment with the fritters.
In order to create a balance after finished a plate of oily fritters, we ordered Chicken Porridge with century egg and salty egg (RM4.50). Plentiful of topping send us satiate sparks to our eyes.
Wanton noodle's noodle are handmade, came with watery but saporous black sauce. RM 4 for this plate.
