Batu Lanchang's food court has been the convenient place to have my meal since I was a teenage. Tones of local foods, you named it you will find it here. However, its not all that are delicious but I will share you some of my favorite food I frequently dine in for.
Mee Goreng (RM 3.80) from #30 stall, exuding strong wok hei with a little hint of spiciness and egg fragrance.
The Pasembur (RM 4.50) is the well known one of top in Penang. In the plate, there are handful of cucumber, yambean with crunchy fried fritters. The best part was the jelly fish, rendering chewy texture to the taste.
Char Koay Teow with duck egg (RM 4.50) from stall #43 shall be something you should not miss.
End your meal with some sweet touch with a bow of Ice Kacang with Ice Cream (RM 3.20)
Kheng's Nyonya Kuih at stall #29, you will find trays filled with colourful kuih, with patrons fighting themselve in the front of the stall to place their order.
I believe the people from the neighbourhood just like me, always made our last stop at stall #35 to get some fried snack. When Mystery Man and I were teenage, we totally love this stall, We still do even though we are grown adult now.

ReplyDeleteHi Adrian, thanks for your comments. Taste is a subjective and individualize matter, and we do find the char koay teow here suit our taste buds, and occasionally I enjoy the Jawa mee and Chicken rice here too.
