It was only a cart selling dumplings in Cintra Street (日本街) back dated to 70 years ago by a Cantonese Mr. Loh , and currently the cart has evolved to a renowned shop selling various dumplings manned by the third generation of Loh's family and even expanded the business to Puchong and Kota Damansara.
What else we could order in a dumpling shop other than its hokkien dumpling (RM5.20)? We found the dumpling was exceptional compared to others, as the rice grain they used was shorter and tiny, thus providing an elusive chewing experience. Conventional meat dumpling used to have the oily texture but the dumpling here was not sebaceous. The flavour was just hit the bull's eye with neither too salty nor oily.
On top of that, their own made sweet bean sauce fuses well with the dumpling too.
The cantonese dumpling (RM4.20) aka bean dumpling possess it own nice bean smell, however I prefer to taste the bean granules in every bites.
In addition, they also offer yam cakes (RM2.90). Garnished with peanuts powder, it has good taste and smell but the texture was slightly on a soft side, and lacking of firmness or biting pleasure for our liking.
Their red bean soup (RM2.50 - small ; 2.80 - big) is good to have to provide a balance after such a heavy meal. The scented mandarin skin smell could be sniffed when the spoon is near to our nostril, and it has minimal sweetness to suit our taste.
