During puasa month, the hawker stalls outside of Gelugor post office transform into a lively and dynamic Bazaar Ramadan, thronged by Muslim observing fasting or even public just like us. The reason is simple: there are plenty of delectable dishes at affordable price here.
This stall selling Soup Gearbox is ever popular with a large queue for it. The essence of the soup is derived from cattle bones boiling with spices and onions, and is believed to strengthen the body, especially for males.
As we walk through the Bazaar Ramadan at Gelugor, the business operators are actively chanting the food they are selling, hoping you may drop by to have a look. Fret not, they are not hard selling and just try to make a living during this holy month of Ramadan.

Another thing we enjoyed much at every Bazaar Ramadan is the varieties of drinks sold here. The vibrant colour are attractive and easily persuade us to stop by to make a purchase.
