Ali Baba & The 40 Dishes Ramadan Buffet 2018 @ C'est Si Bon Restaurant, Vouk Hotel

With a theme "Ali Baba & The 40 dishes", Vouk Hotel Suites showcases a diverse spread of Malaysia specialty dishes hailing from multi ethnic background with an addition of some Arabian specialties for the Ramadan buffer dinner promotion available from 19 May 2018 to 13 June 2018. The buffet is priced at RM 88 nett for adult and RM 60 nett for senior citizens (aged 60 & above) and child (4 - 12 years). Early bird vouchers is applicable for RM 75 nett for adult till 15th May 2018.

Ampang Yong Tau Foo

The menu is crafted by Head Chef Fat Fong and his team that features 40 delicious dishes for diners to break fast. One interesting dish we spotted during the day was Ampang Yong Tau Foo, a rare sighting for any Ramadan buffet spread. It serves well as a lighter version of meal to begin your break fast moment.

Of course, enjoy some of the grill items that features 7 types of seafood such as prawn, sting ray fish curry, scallops, grilled baby lobsters and many more.

On top of that, check out the Arabic and local favourite located at one corner of the C'est Si Bon Restaurant, such as Hummus with Pita Bread and Shawarma, Taukua sumbat, Gado-gado (yum yum!), keropok ikan and fruit pickles.

For those who yearns for a traditional flavour, get a bowl of porridge and put the gigantic ikan masin into it!

Nasi Briyani

Hot dishes: Ayam masak merah, Kurma kambing with potato, Sotong masak berempah, Ikan asam pedas, Prawn salted egg, Beef rendang, Sambal asparagus and long bean with scallop

Coming to the hot dishes counter, the steaming hot Nasi Biryani certainly would have caught your attention with all the steam coming on top of the rice. However, do not be distracted by the Nasi Biryani solely as there are more delicacy such as prawn salted egg, sambal asparagus and long bean with scallop, kurma kambing with potato and many more awaiting to fill your stomach capacity.
