The Chinese New Year celebration aura is brimming at Olive Tree Hotel Penang, as the hotel introduces their selection of Lunar New Year Course Meal Set and Buffet Delights. The course menu starts from 7 January 2019 to 28 February 2019 so you can have plenty of time to celebrate the auspicious session with your peers and family, while Lunar New Year Buffet Lunch is available on 5 & 6 February 2019 and Festive Buffet Dinner is available on every Saturday (26 Jan - 16 Feb 2019). Lunar New Year Set is available at RM 939+ and RM 1099+ per table with different menu per table of 10 person. Among the highlights in the menu are PAn Fried Garoupa with Chef's Special Sauce, Hokkien Fried Rice in Seafood and Abalone Sauce and Honey Barbecue Chicken in Chef's Special Sauce.
The set meal set will be held at the hotel's private function hall to ensure you can spend quality time with your peers or family. For the reunion night, the hotel will organize the dinner at Grand Ballroom as a festive celebration with special traditional performance to entertain all the guests.

The highlight of the buffet will be Peking Duck, which is prepared delicately by having the scrumptious duck meat and crispy skin rolled with a thin popiah skin. Besides, the baked big sea bass with kerabu is something you should not miss out too.
Other Chinese cuisine delight includes Snow Pear Chicken Soup, wok Fried Flower Crab with Spring Onion, Steamed Free Range Chicken with Chinese Parsley, Duckling Ala Orange and many more. The desserts also feature a fair range of Chinese and Western fares such as Egg Tart, Deep Fried Tikoy, Rice Cake Sesame Ball, Cheese Cake, Chocolate Fudge Cake and many more.
For those who wants to reminiscent the hawker style lok-lok, the hotel has prepare a booth with varies lok-lok skewers for you. Enjoy your Chinese New Year in style with the classic lok-lok!
