Alongside Chulia Street you will be able to locate this
strategically placed burger stall, which is named after Manchester United
stadium – Old Trafford. Perhaps Sir Alex Ferguson will indeed patronize this
stall when he comes to Penang one day. A not so typical burger stall, I am
amazed by the choices of patty they offered – chicken, beef, lamb, fish, shrimp
and rabbit. Hot dogs, wedges and french fries are available too.
In the beginning we were hesitating to try the lamb burger (RM 7.50) as we were skeptical toward the strong lamb odour may repel us. However we were
proven wrong by the chef. The lamb petty practically has no strong odour and the
petty was nicely pounded and chewy. As we opted for Special lamb burger, the
cheese enveloped the nicely pounded lamb petty with some melted cheese in
between. The mixture of sauce with some pepper provided extra savouring of the
burger but the strong taste of chili may have hindered the taste of the petty.
The special chicken burger (RM 5) offered little excitement as it tasted
plain. Improvement can be done on the cheese as it tasted rather bland. In
addition, I personally prefer the burger served with more vegetables.
As the lamb burger offered something different, I certainly
look forward to try their shrimp and fish burgers in future. Feedback on
rabbits burgers are welcomed as I am not a fan of rabbit meat.Â

This stall started when MU was still in its golden days. I wonder about now... :-)
