We had
always been wanted to have a holiday at Bangkok due to its close proximity to
Malaysia. Nevertheless, the plan has never been materialized due to the high
airfare price (AirAsia) even though with constant monitoring. Until there was
once, roughly one month before the day of our travelling to Bangkok, we managed
to secure a return flight from Penang to Bangkok - Don Mueang (including airport taxes, fuel surcharge but excluding
luggage) for RM368 per person! It was pretty affordable in our opinion, and
without much hesitation, there forged our sudden holidays!
Though
Bangkok is well known as a Paradise of Shopping, we have an itinerary with a
minimum of shopping and visiting to the well-known tourist attractions such as
Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, statues, museums or parks. We try to make it
as a leisure and spontaneous holiday without a rigid plan, allowing much
flexibility but still pre-planned a list on the few places we intend to go.
Eventually, it is meant to be a short escape from work.
Our trip
