Vegetarian Kitchen 一棵树 @ Golden Triangle, Jalan Paya Terubong, Penang

This 3 days old foodie place has made the first vegetarian restaurant entry between Relau and Sungai Ara area, located at the bustling road connecting these two places. Their opening has immediately caught the attention of those living in vicinity to try out. They are promoting the concept of practicing vegetarian food on every meal, for better health and better planet to live. Glancing through their extensive menu, they serve all day breakfast and main dishes in Western and Oriental style. Health carer can try out their detox soup and their salubrious beverage. Look for their homemade items to surprise yourself with their homemade recipe.

Homemade Burger (RM 19.90) from their all day breakfast menu came with fries and a chunk of healthy greens. Their homemade patty could be the most low fat patty, seasoned beetroot with mixture of vege, squeezed and patted in patty form. It tasted a little bit of salty and soury, flavorful to enjoy with the bread. Peculiarly girls should pick this, as beetroot has high nutrition of iron and folid acid.

I picked one of their special beverage, Pearl Red Barley (RM 6.90). It is a type of grains which rich in fiber, known to help keeping skin elasticity plus keeping colon and intestine healthy. Maybe prevent aging and help slim down as well. Extra hearty cactus honey in case customer cannot tolerate the barley's plainness with zero sweetness. This cactus honey is less sweet comparing to bee honey, and it is much healthier as well.

They have an array of cake at the counter, some are ownmade while some outsource. I picked the Oreo Cheese Cake for RM 12. Thick oreo crunch at the bottom, creamy milky top with chocolate curls.

They have set up a few corners selling products, they are homemade jams, soap and some healthy products. I saw jewelries display there too. Perhaps I can sell my Shirleen Jeweliciouss there too?
