The huge signboard that almost cover the whole building and the overwhelming crowd lured us to have our dinner here. The restaurant front space unable to house the demand, so they have already expanded to the corner shop next it. We were worried if this is going to take long for our dinner to be served so we confirmed with them before ordering. As promised, they served it in half hour time. We are able to sampled 3 dishes, and we strongly recommended their tofu.
Remarks: Kim Man restaurant has since ceased operation at its present location
银香豆腐 Tofu (RM 13) were fried with soft crisp at the skin, and smooth silky inside. The square block of tofu was drenched with their unique sauce. We could not tell what was the crispy cracker sprinkled on top. It certainly palatable to our liking.
蒙古虾姑肉 Mongolian Mantis Prawn (RM 12), the mantis pork were fried and coated with thick sauce. A tad oily with sweet end, we cannot help ourselves forking one after another.
妈咪肉 Marmite Pork (RM 10) Unlike western country, they might use it to spread on bread or stir it with spaghetti. For Malaysia, most Chinese kids love chicken or pork fillet cooked with marmite sauce. It is like something hard to go wrong and Kim Man Restaurant has proven it too.
