S.Wine Wine & Dine restaurant is the newly established restaurant in Queensbay Mall Penang, occupying the shoplot of Plan B previously. When we first glance at the restaurant's name, we misinterpreted it as Swine, unintentionally miss out the "dots. Perhaps this is the clever marketing strategy by the restaurant management as all the cuisine here revolved around pork.
Many thanks to S.Wine Wine & Dine restaurant for hosting us that evening.

Grilled Pork Neck & Green Mango Salad |
Even salads are not given the spare from the inclusion of pork. The Warm Pork Confit, Watermelon & Lyechee Salad (RM 38.00) had pork confit mixed with various fruits for a balance meal. On the other hand, slices of duck necks are concealed within the greenish salad leaves in the Grilled Pork Neck & Green Mango Salad (RM 28.00).

Chargrilled Jerk Pork Belly |
|
Pan Roasted Beer Brined Pork Chop on the Bone |
|
Bangers & Mash with Onion Pork Jus |
The main dishes here focus on presenting the pork in different ways, while still retaining much of the originality of the pork form.
Chargilled Jerk Pork Belly (RM 30.00) had the pork underwent sous vide for 6 hours to yield the desired doneness of pork jelly, while
Bangers & Mash with Onion Pork Jus (RM 36.00) andÂ
Pan Roasted Beer Brined Pork Chop on the Bone (RM 38.00) have their own respective sauce to match with the porky body.Â

Chunky Sausage & Bacon Tomato Cream Pasta |
|
Bacon & Salted Egg Carbonara |

Pasta Bak Chor Mee |
|
Pasta Bak Chor Mee |
Of the different pastas we have tried, Pasta Bak Chor Mee (RM 20.00) & Bacon & Salted Egg Carbonara (RM 26.00) topped our favorite list. The Pasta Bak Chor Mee tasted akin the Singapore version Bak Chor Mee with the yellow noodles replaced by al-dente spaghetti noodles, and sprinkled with aromatic soy pork minces. The taste was furthered enhanced with the lard concealed in the bedding of pork minces.Â
Meanwhile, the combination between salted egg and original creamy texture of carbonara yield an incredible taste for the Bacon & Salted Egg CarbonaraÂ
The highlight of the day will be S.Wine's Whole Slab Pork Ribs (RM 98.00). It is recommended to have at least a party of 4 to enjoy this relatively large pork ribs. Upon roasted and grilled, it is coated with layers of homemade apple BBQ sauce.Â

Pork Satay |
|
Nam Yue Pork Popcorn Bits |
|
Nam Yue Shoulder Chop |
For some Asian delight, we were served Pork Satay (RM 24.00), Nam Yue Pork Popcorn Bits (RM 22.00) and Nam Yue Shoulder Chop (RM 28.00). The pork satay is served along with unique pineapple peanut sauce, while Nam Yue Pork Popcorn Bits is simply irresistible to nip during a movie or chatting with friends. We have to compliment S.Wine for doing a great job in their Name Yue Pork.Â
|
Crispy Pork Burger |
|
BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger |
Western delight such as Crispy Pork Burger (RM 32.00) and BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger (RM 35.00) are featured on their menu as well.Â
|
Creme Brule with Crispy Bacon (RM 18.00)Â |
|
Bubur Cha Cha |
Even their dessert Creme Brule had a slice of bacon topping it to match their restaurant theme, while we thought that might be a weird combination but the taste was okay. The only dessert that had been given a spare was Bubur Cha Cha and we thought it could be better if the coconut creaminess was enhanced.Â
|
Cappuccino (RM 10.00)Â |
|
Mixed Juice (RM 15.00)Â |
|
Iced Latte (RM 12.00)Â
