A plate of mee goreng certainly get an upgrade in taste when a handful of sotong (squid) topping it. Moreover, it is no plain sotong but sotong cooked with chili and sambal.
Want a plate of this awesome mee goreng? Then Seeni Mee Sotong at Sri Weld Food Court definitely should be your next lunch destination.
Seeni Mee Sotong is reddish is colour, thanks to abundance of tomato sauce and chili paste added during the frying. Sliced potatoes, beancurd and fried fritters are then added, then topped with a handful of sotong.
The mee itself is appetizing and the added sotong delivered a punch of taste. We like the chewiness of the sotong, and the hint of spices scent within. Besides, adding sotong to the noodles also brought bonus to the noodle, which is the sweet sotong sauce. It enhanced the flavour of the noodle even more.
If fried noodles are not your cup of tea, then you can opt for mee rebus. The noodles are drenched in mixture of sweet potato and tomato sauce. We preferred fried noodles but this mee rebus is still outstanding.
Just in case you are allergy to sotong, you can go it prawns or chickens. We have not tried these 2 options and we will stick fine with sotong.
Priced at RM 4 per plate, it is a real bargain for this plate of scrumptious noodles.
