When I passed by Restoran Nasi Guhaya at Kulim on a random afternoon, I was surprised by the long queue in front of the stall. There were at least 6-7 people queuing, and I made a determination to come back here to find out what hidden delicacy they have in such stall at such neighbourhood area, considering Taman Kempas is not a main stream commercial lot.
Bearing another sub-name Nasi Tagih "Bagan" which was creatively invented by the stall owner, the stall features some regular nasi kandar dishes, though with significantly varieties of curries / kuah (probably more than 10 types). One distinguish kuah I spotted was the black colored kuah topping the plate of rice, seemingly consisting of some nuts to give it a distinctive sweet taste.
The above plate consists of a piece of fried chicken, a boiled egg and handful of cabbage cost RM 6.6, which was pretty reasonable. I truly enjoy the aromatic and richness of the spices embedded within the kuah, and truly it made me ketagihan (addicted).
