This Fried Rice with Sambal Petai (RM 7.00) is one of the best fried rice we had. We are not a fan of sambal petai but the chef has cleverly used sambal petai without introducing any funky smell to the fluffy fried rice. Add on the sambal provided to elevate the dish to give a nice spicy taste.
Another big name resident in the food court is Ah Hai Koay Teow Soup, which has gained popularity among folks residing in southern part of Penang, in particularly Relau or Sungai Ara. They serve a reasonably good Koay Teow Soup, which is available in both soup and dried version. You can top up with bowl of noodles with poached chicken, char siew or sio bak as you like.
