Then man behind MoonTree 47 is a Chinese guy who has experience in managing restaurant in United States of America. After some time lingering in foreign country, he decided to come back to Penang and pursue his passion in cooking.

Homemade Meatballs Spaghetti (RM 15) served with homemade bolognese sauce

We were introduced to their Homemade Meatballs Spaghetti (RM 15), which is a real bargain if you are looking for something very fulfilling to your stomach as the serving size is enormous and served along with pork meat balls.

Breakfast Omelette (RM 12), stuffed with bacon, tomatoes, red onions, mushrooms, cheese & served with mixed greens

For those looking for a more conventional choice of breakfast, the classic Breakfast Omelette (RM 12) serves as an excellent choice. It is nicely done and the omelette filling is not overwhelming, though at instances it might feel slightly greasy.

If you prefer some other healthy choices, the menu also feature some sandwiches or salads.

Italian Iced Chocolate (RM 15), Caffe Barcione (RM 18) with cold espresso with Bailey Irish Cream

One thing that really leave us with deep impression at MoonTree 47 is their drinks choices. For chocolate connoisseurs, please give a try their Italian Iced Chocolate (RM 15) and you will be mesmerized by its pleasant and thick cocoa sensation. The chef shared with us that the Italian Iced Chocolate was blended with 3 different chocolate to give it a subtle taste.

Alternatively, Cold Espresso with Bailey Irish Cream (RM 18) is another noteworthy drink.
