In the mid of bustling Georgetown city, a new spot for foodie has been conceived at The Saw Emporium on Macallum Road, within the heritage enclave of the city. Those who are well versed in Penang's history might aware that The Saw Emporium is Penang's first sawmill; and its 4th generation owner, Tharin Tan aspired to revitalize the 1950 art-deco heritage building and godowns into a multi-concept dining destination with leading partners featuring top restaurateurs and bars from the region. Â
The revitalization project is named Swallow and we witnessed The Saw Emporium received an industrial heritage restoration with minimalist design that offers a cozy and lifestyle dining venue, while the exterior facade remained unchanged. Swallow @ The Saw Emporium will run till Quarter 1 of 2018, thus do check their
Facebook for more exciting updates.
