Vow to make a bowl of heart warming yet affordable noodles for its guests, Awa Mee Bar 阿瓦面吧, a restaurant chain owned by Souper Tang （汤师傅）Restaurant Group has been making road into Penang Gurney Plaza after being introduced to Malaysians in Johor in 2017.
Awa Mee Bar conceptualizes an unique and tedious way of preparing their soup noodles. Each pot of soup is double boiled for 4 hours to 100°C, then pour into a pot which has been pre-heat to 280°C. On top of that, the serving method is peculiar yet striking, whereby the bowl of noodle is served separately from the pot of soup. Diners are required to pour the soup over the noodle or vice versa. All these factors contribute to the maintenance of the piping hot temperature in order for diners to enjoy the tip-top condition of the food. Coupled with their own kneaded lissome noodles, rest assured you will be served a bowl of unparalleled dish.
