The close proximity of Perth to South Indian Sea allows the port city to be blessed with abundance of sea produce. Thus, a walk to Fremantle city seaside will boggle your mind on which to choose for your seafood lunch or dinner. To keep everything simple, we simply walked to one of the restaurant -Cicerello's for our lunch because the interior looks promising.
Aquariums after aquariums can be seen placed in the center of the restaurant, particularly beside the cashier to influence and temp you to order more perhaps. The restaurant practices a self ordering and self collection system during our time of visit.
The menu features an extensive range of seafood products. Matters here is whether your wallet is thick enough to support your order.
Having a concern on the relatively large portion size, we ordered a Tasting Plate (AUD 34.70) to feast on a variety of sea produce. It was a right choice as the platter has fish prepared in two different methods - traditional and grilled, mussels, squids, prawns and served along with fries.
We preferred the grilled fish somehow, and the mussels were special, tasted like it has been served with olive oil to give it a special fragrance. Overall, it gives a good idea on how the seafood tasted here.
Cappuccino (AUD 4.10) was nothing to shout about though. Coffee is definitely not their forte.
