Hui Sing Hawker Centre 辉盛小贩中心 is a popular spot among Kuching folks to enjoy a simple yet delicious dinner. It is strategically located in the town, and nearby to Kuching International Airport thus we stopped by for a quick fix for our dinner before heading to airport.
One of the item that you shall not miss over this simple hawker centre is their Pork Satay. It is a popular dish in Kuching, and the pork satay at Hui Sing Hawker Centre is juicy and succulent, apart of having the right tender texture that aid in the eating pleasure. The same stall also sells Chicken Satay. It was good too but the Pork Satay just made it inferior.
If you are a fans of Lobak, you can try the Mackerel Fish Spring Roll (RM 5/piece) selling in front of the pork satay stall. Surprisingly the Mackerel fish made an excellent substitution to either chicken or pork filling for the spring roll, giving it a nice seafood taste.
I saw this noodle stall which seemingly popular as many locals order the fried noodles / koay teow with or without clams. The taste was alright but it would be better if the noodles was served hot.
Not to forget to order a Teh C Special, a Kuching specialty too! How I could miss out this when I was here!
