Midnight Supper @ Lok Lok, Kuching, Sarawak

Most of Kuching food outlets close early during night time with the exception of fast food restaurants, bars and some Mamak stalls. Nevertheless, we managed to locate this stall excluded from above categories that operates till 3am in the morning, and it appeared to be popular among the locals.

Located nearby to waterfront, this small shop named Lok Lok serves a variety of food. One of the most popular here definitely would be their lok lok, as you can choose a variety of skewers depending on your preference. Other than that, there are chee cheong fun, curry noodles, sarawak laksa, nasi lemak and ayam penyet.

Their Nasi Lemak has all the essential components and is served along with an Ayam Rendang. The  slight spicy chili complements and elevate the overall dish well.

Ayam Penyet meanwhile fall short of our expectation slightly. Served with a whole chicken leg, it has the right texture but the marination might not strong enough to trigger us yearning for more.

Anyhow, whenever you are in Kuching and looking for some places to chill down during midnight. Lok Lok would serve as an ideal destination.
