Small World 88 Cafe（ 88小小世界咖啡屋）@ Alor Setar, Kedah

Located at a rather secluded location on a second floor shop house along Jalan Pintu Sepuluh at Alor Setar, Small World 88 Cafe （ 88小小世界咖啡屋）is a cozy cafe that serves a variety of homemade desserts and some coffee for you to spend a good afternoon. Personally, it looks more like a restaurant settings with private room available even.

Bagel (RM 9.90)

Tiramisu Cake (RM 11.90)

We were impressed with its Bagel (RM 9.90), especially on its crisp and fluffy texture. Coupled with the black sesame dashed on the bagel, it gives a subtle and pleasant taste. The bagel had the customary filling, which included tomato slices, ham, onions and vegetables. With a touch of the unique spicy chili sauce, the entire bagel combination serves well as a pastry.

On the other hand, Tiramisu Cake (RM 11.90) is own made by the in-house-chef cum young cafe owner. The texture was made just nice, and the introduction of strawberry as a accompany side did well to neutralize the slight sweetness of the cake. Alcohol scent was minimal.

Small World 88 Cafe also make some decent brewed coffee as well. We had a relaxing afternoon there by enjoying their Tiramisu Latte (Rm 11.90) and Rose Latte (RM 11.90).
