Two Frenchies Cafe Bistro @ Lebuh Bishop, Georgetown, Penang

Two Frenchies at Lebuh Bishop is one of the very few French restaurant in Penang. At first glance, many would have mistakenly thought Two Frenchies as a dog cafe, as the cafe bears a dog logo. However, it was later clarified that Frenchies literally mean French bulldog. The cafe features an extensive menu of Western style dishes with French influences with a wine menu. On top of that, many would have thought French cuisine often associated with premium price tags but this is not the case at Two Frenchies.

Two Frenchies Signature Burger (RM 29.90)

Two Frenchies Signature Burger is a must have burger here with its luxury serving style yet friendly price tag. We get to choose the doneness of the burger patty, and it was perfectly executed by the chef on its medium rare. The combination of bacon and the succulent patty worked well, and having it along with well done fries was a decadence.

Confit de Canard

Confit De Canard (RM 32.90) features a dark confit sitting on a bedding of perfectly executed mashed potatoes. It is crispy on the skin and not too dry on the meat, and having it coated with the soft mashed potatoes is an indulgence.

Classic French Onion Soup (RM 14.50)

When we thought RM 14.50 for a bowl of Classic French Onion Soup was too lavish, we were rewarded with the a bowl of epicurean bowl of savoury soup. Mixture of onion, herbs and a tad of oiliness (presuming from butter) granted the soup an excellent taste when consumed hot.

Mousse Au Chocolate (RM 11.90)

Dessert choices are not spared from the menu. Mousse Au Chocolate serves as something nice to end the meal. If you prefer a non chocolate version of dessert, then Creme Brule would serve as a good alternative though our stomach capacity disallows us to have too much dessert.
