When we thought the price of such elegant cafe would be exorbitant due to the elegant settings, the truth is the opposite. We had Hoshino Spaghetti (RM 19.70) and Pot Curry Rie (RM 23.70), which we felt is reasonably priced, although there are some seafood or platter menu has the price ranging about RM 30.
Hoshino Spaghetti was cooked to al-dente, and the usage of angel hairs drizzled with olive oil did manage to whet our appetite. The spaghetti noodles were served with shimeji, chicken bacon, eggplant and chicken sausages, which all worked well except for the chicken sausages. The omission of chicken sausage or substitution it with something else definitely would have work out the dish better.
Pot Curry Pie on the other hand is an exemplary dish. We enjoyed the Japanese curry, and the taste was intensified with cheese and hot spring egg.
Be wary that if you choose to have your Souffle after meal, you will need to wait for another 20 minutes. Otherwise, just remind the crew to serve it along with your main dishes.
Hoshino Coffee also operates another branch in Mid Valley.
