San Francisco Coffee has finally landed in Penang at Gurney Plaza! We have long yearning for its establishment in Penang after having tried it during our stay in Klang Valley. Now Penangites' appetites can set to be whetted with quality top-of-the-crop coffee, expert roasting, and great service by San Francisco (SF) Coffee.

Well, each San Francisco Coffee outlet tends to exhibit an unique traits, and the one in Gurney Plaza truly reflects Penang's value with a design that resembles the blue beach colour sea waves, offering a calm and serene space that touches customers 5 scenes - smell, touch, taste, hearing, and sight along with their freshly brewed coffee.
We loved SF coffee as they used a great blend of coffee that yields nice aroma profile. SF coffee sources beans from some of the best coffee farms around the world and aims to combine the perfect blend of coffee that allows customers to enjoy a pleasant experience at their outlet. Other than the coffee, the sandwiches served at SF coffee are freshly assembled too, allowing customers to grab some quality sandwiches either for brunch or tea break.

The SF Coffee in Gurney Plaza is divided into two parts: a more private lounge area screened off at the back, and a casual seating area at the entrance. On top of that, SF coffee also works differently by supporting local artists and feature their works at each outlet as part of the company Corporate Social Responsibility.

Anna, a Penang-raised artist features was the talented artist who worked with SF coffee and featured her own piece of work in the SF coffee at Gurney Plaza with a theme "Coffee, Beach and Sea".
