Double Shot Bistro @ Jalan Gottlieb, Georgetown, Penang

The cozy ambiance, friendly price tag and their warm services have been the prides of Double Shot Bistro, which explain their establishment coming to 4 years now. Their regular patrons are mostly those staying in the neighborhood and the students nearby. We like their menu, simple and clear choices in 5 pages only. Breakfast during the morning, lunch and dinner with the option in set, some special dishes and great coffee are offering here. Quite a wide selection of in-house-made cakes are available here, especially the exotic selection of cheese cake such as durian and cempadak flavours have caught our eyes during our visit.

Peri-Peri chicken (RM 18.90) came with nicely grilled tenderly chicken, compliment with mash potato and salad. The peri-peri sauce did leveled the taste but isn't burning at all. The portion is a bit smaller than the regular, but well judged by the friendly price tag and the great taste though. During the lunch hour (11.30 am - 2.30 pm) and dinner hour ( 6 pm - 9.30 pm), just add on RM 3 to complete your meal with a soup of the day and Orange Juice/Pineapple Juice/Tea. Coffee lovers can just upgrade your drink to Americano/Cafe Latte/Cappucino with RM 4.

We cant withstand the temptation but to end our meal with Durian Cheese Cake (RM 15.80). The size of the cake is again pretty small, but packed with flavour and richness of cheese and durian. Durian's flesh can still been tasted. A greater deal if you visit during the tea time hour from 3 pm - 6 pm, you get to enjoy a slice of the cake of your choice and doubleshot Americano/Cafe Latte at RM 12.80 only.
