If you are into some snacks while exploring the town, then give a try to this classic snack - steamed rice cake, or known as sugar rice cakes. For the past 50+ years, this modest stall has been selling steamed rice cake in Cintra Street and currently manned by the third generation. Steamed rice cake is made from rice, sugar, water and yeast for fermentation. It is white in colour and has honeycomb-like fluffy texture on the inside. The same stall also offer other snacks such as Ham Chin Peng (salted fried cakes) too.
