Kopi & Roti @ Alor Setar, Kedah

It is only coffee and sandwiches in this relatively new cafe in Alor Setar - Kopi & Roti. Established in 2017, the cafe offers a minimalist and spacious environment for diners, and a variety of sandwiches such as panini, baguette, ciabatta, croissant and focaccia only in their menu. We liked how their food is priced competitively without hurting the wallet too much for a simple dining here.

When we were in a conundrum what to select among the varieties of bread, the crew quickly came to us and recommended us their signature - Ciabatta Chicken Mushroom Ragout (RM 12.90). Well, the ciabatta breads did posses a significantly denser texture and a firm skin, sandwiching chicken meat, seasoned mushrooms and greeny leaves dressed in sauce. Though not exactly ragout (a stew meat) was being used, the overall combination of the sandwiches worked nice.

Filter drip coffee here comes on a friendly price tag of RM 12 per portion and it was nicely done, allowing us to sip and profile the coffee beans being used. Cappuccino (RM 7.50) was alright too.

Overall, the entire dining experience here are great and the inexpensive food might allure us to come here again in future. The cafe is very much Instagrammable too!
