Wantan Mee is an universal favourite in Malaysia but have you tasted Pontian (a district in Johor) version of Wantan Mee?
The renowned Chan SinKee Pontian Mee is now available in Kota Damansara. Different from the conventional wantan mee, Pontian Mee douses their noodles with the signature Pontian sauce - tomato red chili instead of dark soy sauce, yielding a reddish colour look noodle. Other options are available though.

Truth is the red chili sauce may look unappealing during the initial moment, nor the taste was not that impressive at the very first bite. However as you go for more noodles, a pleasant taste builds up, along with a nice aroma that tempted us to go more for the noodles.
At the same time, we also tried Black Chili Wantan Mee with thicker noodles. It tasted like conventional wantan mee but with an added heat component. A great choice too.
On top of that, the al-dente noodles texture coupled with nice wantan did capture our heart too. All these, coupled with the sauces make a bowl of great wantan mee.
