To entice the palate of the most discerning guests of Penangites to the buffet, the chef in Iconic Hotel has picked up the Thai cooking style from a Thai chef. Coupling with the Nyonya influences that Penangites are well versed, rest assured you will be embarked on a gastronomy journey here.
One of the best highlight here is the availability of 41 types of sauces and condiments, ranging from the sour, spicy, fiery hot to the sweet to complement all your dishes here. For best results, get some fresh yabbies, prawns, mussels and scallops and play around with the sauces. This will be the best experiences you can ever get from a buffet!
For a true Thai and Nyonya indulgence, dig into the array of main dishes, ranging from the delicious Rendang Daging, Braised Duck with Yam, Fried Shredded Dried Cuttlefish & Vegetable, Sotong Masak Ayam Pedas to the less common food in Malaysia such as Pad Krapow Talay and Phad Prikking (curry without coconut milk). As the dishes were really delicious, it ultimately caused us to take more rice to complement the dishes.
