Ixora Hotel Penang presents a buffet spread that boasts a plethora of piquant local salads, pickles, assortment of hot dishes, desserts and free flow of drinks in 4 rotational menu in their Kampung Ku Buffet Dinner. The buffet dinner is being held from 7 May to 3 June 2019, 7pm to 10pm and priced at RM 88 nett per adult, RM 58 nett per child. There will be one adult free for every ten paying adult guests.

One of the exciting experience about this Kampung Ku Buffet Dinner is the presence of chef manned warung at the exterior of Straits Cafe. There are Ikan Bakar, Kambing Golek, Bee Hun Sup Utara, Mee Goreng, Pasembur, Ice Kacang, Teh Tarik & Nescafe Tarik. Among them, the Kambing Golek is a must try definitely. The tender soft lamb with nice char, coupled with various gravies make it a wonder to have during the night.
The Bee Hun Sup Utara is our favourite too. It has a light taste that enhanced by its unique chili.
On top of that, there are kebab stall within Strait Cafe, and the main buffet counter are full with dish with robust flavours such as ayam kuzi berempah dengan kismis, gulai ikan keli timun mda tumis darat, udang goreng Nestum daun kari, sambal tumis kerang dengan ubi, kupang masam manis, siput lala goreng bercili, daging shamah, pati masak cuka cili padi and etc.
The starter and appetizers spread cover an assortment of kerabu and various ulam-ulam such as ulam raja, daun selom, pucuk ubi kayu rebus and etc. If you like spicy stuff, then indulge yourself with the extended options such as belacan kampung, budu Kelantan, sambal tempoyak & sambal manga muda.
There are soups in the rotational menu including sup kambing berempah dengan kentang, sup tomyam lautan & sup ekor ala kampong.
For desserts, there are bubur pulut hitam, assorted pudding, ice cream, Raya biscuits and assorted local kuih-muih.
