This unnamed Mee Goreng tucked in a Chinese kopitiam in Tanjung Bungah is probably one of the best kept secret from the crowded tourist to Penang. Even though they open from 2pm - 6pm only (except Monday and Friday), there will be always a queue waiting for the mee goreng, and sometimes the waiting time can go up to 30 minutes or even longer!
The plate of mee goreng here share some characteristics that I enjoy personally: slightly moist, the fried egg still visible, a slight char scent accompanied with great wok hei and a strong heat component. My palate gets an ultimate treat by this mee goreng and all the long wait were definitely worthwhile!
