On top of serving a wide range of delicious food that include traditional roasted turkey, roasted beef wellingtons and Christmas cookies, the flagship restaurant in the hotel - Sri Tanjung Cafe will be decorated in full Christmas regalia with gingerbread houses and Christmas candies.

Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner and New Year Fare 2019 at Royale Chulan Penang

I think the hotel did a major invention to their menu by introducing a few dishes that really impressed us during the Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner. Among them are Pumpkie Pie, Roasted Duck with Orange Ginger Sauce and Beef Stroganoof among the dozens of dishes in the main course counter.

Of course, the Christmas dinner will be incomplete without traditional roasted turkey with mirepoix sausage and apricot stuffing, roasted beef wellington or even tandoori traditional roasted lamb. All these are available in the carving station, and be sure to grab it fast as these are the hot item during the buffet.

Another dish that left us with deep impression is Butter Squash with Pumpkin Soup. It was sleek and smooth in taste.

Of course, the buffet spread is fill with various Christmas desserts such as Yule Leg, Stollen, Ginger Bread, Christmas Cookies, Christmas Puddings, various French pastries and etc.
