With the Covid-19 pandemic is far from over and more time are being spent at home instead of dining out, we have pursued a new hobby - cooking. For amateurs like us, cooking has been made easy with the Pacific West products, as the meat and fish are ready to eat with the help from air-fryers or oven. In today article, we are going to share simple recipes for our 4 meals (breakfast, lunch, tea-break and dinner) in a day with Pacific West products.

Breakfast - Tempura Prawns Wrap Sandwich
Ingredients:
- Pacific West Tempura Prawns
- 2 Quinoa Wraps (or any other wraps available in stores)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- Carrot (Julienne cut)
- A few pieces of lettuces
- 1/3 red onions (Julienne cut)
- Mayonnaise add to taste
- Kewpie Cheesy Cheese Sandwich Spread add to taste
Steps:
- Spread mayonnaise and Kewpie cheesy cheese sandwich spread on the wrap
- Place tomatoes, carrot, lettuces and red onions on the wrap
- Cook Pacific West Tempura Prawns according to your preferred way following the instruction labels on the box
- Place the cooked Pacific West Tempura Prawns on the wrap
- Wrap well (use toothpick if needed), and heat the wraps on pan if you prefer to enjoy it hot
Lunch - Kampung Fried Rice with Fish Cocktails
Ingredients:
- Pacific West Sweet Chili Cocktails
- 2 servings of cooked rice
- anchovies
- 1/3 red onions (chopped)
- Carrots (diced)
- Crushed chili padi
- 2 eggs
- Choice of vegetables - Choy sum or Kailan
Steps
- Heat up the wok with cooking oil
- Fry the anchovies, followed by onions, chili padi, carrots and vegetables
- Add cooked rice followed by eggs
- Cook till the rice golden brown colour
- Light soy sauce, salt and pepper add to taste
- Add cooked Pacific West Sweet Chilli Fish Cocktails (following the instructions label on the box) at the serving plate of Kampung Fried Rice
Tea Break - Mini Homemade Fresh Tomatoes Thin Crusted Seafood Pizza
Ingredients:
- Pacific West Panko Coated Squid Strips
- 1 teaspoon of active yeast
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of lukewarm water
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
- Tomato Sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
Steps:
- Preheat the oven with baking sheet at 230°C
- Sprinkle yeast over the water and let the yeast dissolved and turned foamy. Usually will take 3-5 minutes
- Add flour, salt and olive oil into the water mixture. Mix with a spatula or wooden spoon until shaggy dough
- Mixed the dough in mixer for 5 minutes, then transfer the dough onto a work surface and knead it to form a smooth, slightly tacky ball that will bounce back when you gently poke on it. Add a tablespoon of flour at a time until it is easier to work with if dough sticks to your hand.
- Cover the dough with upside-down bowl and let it sit while you prepare the pizza toppings (Pacific West Panko Coated Squid Strips) and sauce (mixture of garlic, fresh tomatoes, tomato sauce)
- Stretch and roll it into a thin dough. Form from the middle of the dough outwards. Using the heel of your hand to gently press and stretch the dough until it is about a 1/4 inch thick.
- Carefully remove the preheated baking sheet from the oven and place it upside down on wire rack. Transfer the dough directly onto the baking sheet and brush the dough with 1 teaspoon of oil.
- Bake until the crush is golden brown for about 5 minutes at 250°C
- Remove the pizza from oven
- Spread your prepared sauce into a thin layer onto dough, leaving 1/2 inch border. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of it.
- Put the pizza back into oven and bake to let the cheese melt for another 3 minutes.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and arrange cooked Pacific West Panko Coated Squid Strips on top of the pizza.
Dinner - Butter Fish Fillet with Rice
Ingredients:
- Pacific West Figgy Oatmeal Fish Fillets
- Chili Padi (2 or 3 small pieces)
- Curry Leaves (1 stalk)
- Milk (80ml)
- Unsalted butter (50gm)
Steps
- In cooking pan, melt unsalted butter, then add on milk, curry leaves and chili padi
- Add salt and butter to taste
- Let the sauce simmered and thicken
- Pour the prepared sauce onto cooked Pacific West Figgy Oatmeal Fish Fillets (following the cooking instruction labels on the box)
- Serve with warm white rice
Tadaa. Pacific West products made the home cooking such a pleasant and easy experience. Moreover, it is easy to prepare and even amateur cooks can prepare them like a master!
