We were looking for a pit stop for coffee within the vicinity of Kuantan and stumbled upon Kopi Mesin, a seemingly chic and modern cafe near to Swiss Garden Hotel Beserah. Kopi House has a glasshouse type design and the exclaimation "wow" immdiately striked our mind. Apparently, Kopi Mesin originated from Kubang Kerian, Kelantan and has since spreaded its franchise to various places across Penisular Malaysia in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Kedah, Selangor and Perak. It offers an extensive menu featuring both traditional Malay and modern Western food, and definitely worth the visit if you are looking for affordable yet not disappointing food.
Since we were here for a quick pit stop to grab something before continue our journey, we decided to just take something light for trial purposes and skipped all the fancy disehs such as Nasi Ayam Buttermilk, spaghetti and etc.
The RM 5 Keropok Lekor came with 5 pieces and it tasted good. Crispy outer layer while the filling is brimming with the nice fish smell, then the coffee is average but just nice to provide us the daily caffeine dose.
However waiting time is kind of long even though there is not many people.
With the affordable pricing and wide variety of food selections, we see the reason why Kopi Mesin can become succesful in such a short time.
