Thanks to The Tamarra by Irama Dining for extending the invitation
The vibes offered by Tamarra is different from many places we have been. An artificial mini fountain is placed at the main door to greet your entry, followed by a beautifully decorated space with luxury sofa which makes them picturesque spots. Then along the dining area are ornamented with flowers, and somehow it resembles an outdoor wedding space. There is even an outdoor space designated for pictures opportunity.
I like the way how the dining team spaces out the food counters. The hot dishes buffet counter are well arranged at a corner, featuring some of the Malay traditional dishes such as ayam goreng, ayam percik, gulai itik and udang goreng. Fried giant tiger prawns were such a hit in the buffet line that all of them were gone the moment it was refilled to the tray.
The Tamarra culinary team also prepares white rice, Nasi Kerabu and Nasi Biryani to go along with all the delicious dishes. Personally, I like the nasi biryani much as it was brimming with flavourful spices.
On top of that, there are an array of appetizers and ulam-ulaman being served on the buffet line. The choices were so vast that diners were in a conundrum where to start. There are even 6 different types of sambals being prepared so diners can make the condiments that fit into their own taste buds.
The outdoor area is filled with half a dozen of action counters that churn up everyone's delicacies. Among them are kambing bakar, ayam bakar, satay, shawarma, bihun sup, apam balik, sup tulang and char koay teow kerang. Diners make a beeline and order their favourite food from their respective counter before and after breaking fast.
The kambing bakar and ayam bakar were such a hit that many diners come back for second, and even third servings of it.
On top of that, there are a variety of Malay and Western desserts to appease your sweet tooth as well. Treat yourself with ice cream, bubur kacang durian, coffee, teh tarik and others.
