Taiwanese Palace that started at Icon City has expanded to Penang Island offering the islander more options for Taiwan Food. With the location just a stone thrown away from Queensway Mall, the restaurant can be quite jam pack during lunch and dinner hour. Even though parking spaces available at this shop lot area but wasn't adequate enough during office hours. Expect some waiting time to get a table and beat the sun glaring in fron the restaurant but they do considerate enough preparing standing fans for patrons. Dining space wise is quite compact with them trying to maximise the space catering the demand. We thought the food here serves some great comfort taiwainese brasied pork foods and rejoiced to have the familiar taiwanese style omelette roll. There are good verdicts over their ice dessert and we shall keep that to try next time.

| Soy Stewed Pork Rice Set |
For Soy Stewed Pork rice set, the stewed pork and rice is well proportionated and come with full braised egg, taiwanese sausage and compliment with bak choy. Stew pork is well-seasoned to our liking and not greasy while keeping its tenderness. The pickled sides add some tangy acidic taste and texture that provides contrast to the savory flavours of the stewed dish. During our visit, lotus soup is served in set and we thought its a comfort meal overall.

| Scallion Oil Dry Noodles |
Scallion Oil Dry Noodles did not disappoint us, unlike the usual scallion oil noodle we tried elsewhere. We enjoyed the noodle texture, imparting scallion aroma that goes well with the braised mince pork.

| Cheese Omelette Roll |
Taiwan Omelette roll is one of the popular street food in Taiwan, it basically made of very thin crepe like egg based skin rolled up in different flavour and we opted for cheese version here. We thought this is a rare find in Penang and we enjoy every bit of it especially the oozing cheese in the mouth.
