Amari SPICE Hotel Penang is introducing an Amazing Thai Cuisine Buffet to celebrate the vibrancy of Thai cuisine in conjunction with Loy Krathong Festival. This seasonal buffet is only available till 16 December 2023, and it is being mentored by Thai chef Poltap Paktarapantanon from Amari Bangkok. The Thai buffet also receives the gracing of Royal Thai consulate general of Penang. His Excellency also contributed two pots of Thai holy basil under the care of Amari SPICE Penang for the continuity of excellent Thai cuisine in the hotel.
The buffet is priced at RM 148 nett per person and RM 108 nett per child or senior citizen. It is available every Monday to Saturday, 6.30pm - 10.30pm till 16 December 2023. Be quick and book your slot!

We were there on the first day of launching, when His Excellency Thai Consulate General of Penang also came and grace the launching and welcomed by performance by Siamese society of Penang.
You can expect a great amount of Thai flair in the cuisine selections. The appetizer sections feature some of the Thai classics including Miang Kham and Som Tum (Thai Papaya Salad). While you might need to get your hands in action in preparing your own Miang Kham, please do check out this section if possible as the taste really reflecs the authentic Thai taste.
On top of that, you should not miss out the Authentic Thai Pad Thai neighbouring to the appetizer section. The Pad Thai here tastes exactly the same, or even better than some of the Pad Thai you get in Bangkok.
The buffet also features an excellent spread of a variety of Thai dishes including Tom Yam Spaghetti, Thai vermicelli, Thai steamboat, roasted meat, tub tim krob and many more.
On top of that, selections of buffet also covers fresh seafood on ice, selections of fresh sushi and sashimi, grilled items, desserts and others.
