The charcoal grilling station offers a true seafood feast, featuring a delightful variety—from mantis shrimp and slipper lobster to baby lobster, spanner crab, teriyaki salmon, stingray, prawns, grilled octopus, baked oysters, salmon head and local mackerel. With such an array of choices, I felt utterly spoiled, wondering where to begin this indulgent journey.
While we are spoiled by the smokey seafood before entering Spice Market cafe, we are thrilled to explore the seafood-on-ice section within the cafe. The bountiful treasure-trove of fresh seafood display features impressive variety - from plump tiger prawn and green lip mussels to flower crabs and scallop. Its an invitation to indulge in the pure, vibrant flavours of sea.
Its hard to resist the allure of the sushi counter which showcasing impressive array of sushi, each piece meticulously crafted by Rasa Sayang skilled chef. With vibrant colour and artful presentation makes it a heaven for sushi enthusiasts. Be sure not to miss their signature sushi - the torch-seared lobster makimono with miso salmon offers a perfect blend of flavors and textures that elevate the sushi experience.
The hot Western and Oriental dishes section offers an enticing variety of surf and turf. At the action station, enjoy chili crab served with fluffy mantau buns, while the carving station presents a baked whole fish and a roasted harissa lamb leg. Don’t miss the tandoori station, and the local corner where the satay is simply to die for.
